Olivia Gilliatt is an actor, devisor, educator and producer. She has performed at New York institutions including The Public Theater, The Mint, and HEREArts; and traversed the country in productions at the Denver Center, Vermont’s Northern Stage, Two River Theater, and Cleveland Play House, to name a few. Olivia is passionate about facilitating the development of emerging artists’ creative voices. In addition to teaching Games on the middle, high school, college, graduate, and post-graduate level, she frequently collaborates on the creation of new works with young people at the non-profit organization The 52nd Street Project. She’s also contributed to new works at Songspace, softfocus, the Musical Theater Factory, american vicarious, the Playwrights Realm, and at her own creative laboratory, Book Club, co-run with Marina McClure.
She is an alumna of NYU’s Grad Acting program, where she has taught first-year students, and of Dartmouth College. She is also a board member of NYU’s Grad Acting Alumni Association, and for seven years she served as the Artistic Producer of Studio Tisch, a summer theater festival for the ongoing education of alumni and creation of new work.
